Cees J. de Bruin
Cees de Bruin (1946) is a graduate from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, as well as a chartered accountant. He started his career at IHC Holland, an engineering and construction company for the dredging and offshore industry. Subsequently he joined Heerema, an offshore construction company. In 1968 he founded the Indofin Group, a globally operating investment group. It is still 100% owned by the De Bruin family. With offices in Geneva, Houston, Paris and Rotterdam, the Indofin Group is actively involved in the provision of private equity and the management of companies in Europe, the U.S., Canada, Australia and Asia, through minority and majority participations. Together with its strategic partners the Group has made investments in excess of €2.5 billion. The Group’s principal holding companies are Roosland Beheer B.V., Parkland N.V., Indofin USA Inc., Avobone Holding S.A., Venture Fund Rotterdam B.V. and Middelland Beheer B.V.
Robert J. Champion de Crespigny AC
Robert Champion de Crespigny (1950) is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He founded the Normandy Mining group in 1985 and ran it until it was acquired by Newmont Mining Corporation in 2002 for US$4.25 billion. Between 2002 and early 2006 Robert Champion de Crespigny was the Chairman of the Economic Development Board of South Australia and also an independent adviser to the Executive Committee of Cabinet of the South Australian Government for some of that time. In addition, between 2000 and 2004 he held the position of Chancellor of the University of Adelaide. In 2002 he was made a Companion of the Order of Australia, Australia's highest honour, for services to the mining industry, to business and to the community in the areas of cultural preservation and education. He moved from Australia to the United Kingdom in April 2006. He is non-executive Chairman of Crosby Textor Research Strategies Results Pty Ltd and retains directorships of a number of educational and charitable bodies as well as a number of private companies.
Pieter van Dongen
Pieter van Dongen (1957) is a graduate from Erasmus University of Rotterdam, as well as a chartered accountant. He started his career at Andersen Consulting and Arthur Andersen before joining the Indofin Group in 1988. Since 1990 directly responsible as key executive for the international investment activities out of the Geneva, Paris and Houston offices.
Belle de Bruin-van Eijck
Belle de Bruin (1973) is a graduate from Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She started her career as international consultant at Ecorys before joining the Indofin Group in 1999. Based in Rotterdam she is responsible for a portfolio of private equity investments.
